bite me !!!!! :) Sorry
Hey everyone this is the first time I've had a chance to go online.
First off, my apologizes to all the riders. i know my crash took away from others riding time and that sux! I saw the oil that my bike left on the track too, and that really sux too.
Tony, sorry for causing a hassle, not my intentions. You did put on a great Track Day.
Overall I had a great day and learned alot. I especially thank Derek and Ken (I think) that took me around to show me the correct lines to be taking into the corners.(which I have problems following)
I know people mentioned R1's highsiding in the hill of turn 4, but I didn't think I was going to be going fast enough or on the throttle enough for that to happen....i was wrong.
Overall I'll be fine, my right shoulder is messed up pretty bad and I feel like a giant bruise.....my bike actually looks alot worse, not so pretty.
I especially thank my close friends for helping me out and taking care of me. After all the meds in the hospital I was pretty helpless, but must of been amusing:)
...Highsider, send me a PM with your address bro so i can re-imburse you for that break lever. I did afterall break your front lever you leant me, which was really cool of you and i appreciate it.
Alright, typing with one hand takes too long, so I'm done.
I earned "Crash Chris" so I understand if my username gets changed:D
heeeyyyy, there he is...
obviously crashing sucks, but i'm glad to see you're doin alright :hellyeah:
Don't even worry about that brake lever, it came with my bike, and I can buy a sweet bling-bling set of fake carbon fiber ones on ebay for like $20. Which reminds me, PM with you address, I have a get-well present for you:DQuote:

Rest up, and take *some* solace in the in the fact that at least this happened in the fall, before the end of riding season.
It was nice to meet you, and hopefully we'll get to hang out again under better circumstances. :drink:
-Highsider -
If (and this is still a BIG IF)... I am able to do a "buy 4-get 5" deal, there will certainly NOT be an additional group buy discount on top of that.Quote:

I got myself into trouble in previous years in giving too many discounts, paying too much for stuff, etc. When I actually started a spread sheet to track everything, I was very UNPLEASANTLY surprised :(
I did a big push on marketing this year with the understanding that it was a "make or break" year. If things didn't improve, I was not doing it for 2005.
Fortunately, things turned around nicely and I am once again excited for the future.
Having said that...
If anything, I am looking to ADD various services that make our days even better. As I've said before, I am NOT looking to be the WALMART of track days.
This year has shown me that there is a large group of riders that value the organization and the "perks" that our days have over others. My plan is to cater to these individuals and continually improve the experience we provide.
My suggestion to everyone is to start a TRACK DAY fund now. Sock away $20 per week and you should be in good shape come next year.
Hope this helps.
Hee hee...I was just fuckin' with ya. Glad you're relatively okay. BTW-I was the one with Jamie, looking for the alleged coolant leak on your R1...Quote:
