New lid, will it pass tech?

I got a pretty good deal on this and wondered if it would pass tech for ALL of the track days held @ Loudon and Penguin School. It's a Soumy Vandal, manufacture date is Dec. 2009 and these were in the spec's. Thanks for any help.

It is DOT, but not Snell M2000, K2000, or SA2005 approved. I'm thinking no for Penguin. I believe they require Snell approval for all helmets.

Thanks! I've still got my RX7 for Penguin next year. I got this Suomy for $120. shipped so I thought I'd give it a try on my huge mellon. It actually fits a hair(get it?? ) better than my RX7 and a few better than my Quantum II.

It meets the ECE 22.05 and BSI Gold safety standards (BSI 6658 Type A).
    It's fine for LRRS

However with that said, the 2011 rulebook is not out yet and there was talk at a recent rider's meeting that the helmet rules WILL be changing.

According to the Suomy site, it's DOT, ECE 22-05 and BSI 6658:1985A certified, so according to the rule Pete posted, it's definitely fine.

    Sounds like a great deal.
As long as it fits you well, great buy.
