    1st gen EX500 experts

Im sure it is a sore subject but i've been searching for hours and can't seem to find the thread I had originally seen. Im looking to do a 17" wheel conversion on my first gen track bike.

I read that I can swap a 2nd gen(94+) swingarm, wheel, brakes, and rear master to take care of the rear, and run a 2nd gen front wheel backwards for the front. Do I have this correct? Thanks

haha ya, I saw that thread but it talks more about going to a f2 rear wheel. Im not looking to run a fat tire, just want a 17 so I can run a radial sticky tire like I have on my gs500 track bike. But someone else also confirmed its a straight swap so onwards we go. Bought just about the whole back half for under 200 bucks last night on ebay. Have a set of forks with cartridges done coming also.
