Have you ridden it? Are you sure something is tweaked?
Josh, let me know when you're ready to post the GS for sale. I'm a member on The GS Resource forum and I can post an ad over there for you. Looks like a very nice bike.

Have not been for a ride, but everything looks as straight as an arrow and suspension feels good with a push test

I want to learn how to be good. Better rider, proficient around the track. I made the mistake of posting about my crash on Gixxer.com. Now I feel like ass :-( Basically they tore me apart and said I should not even ride in a parking lot. Usually I let things roll off my back. Now I let this kind of make me feel useless on a bike, lol Maybe I just don't have what it takes and never will.![]()

Get off gixxer.com
Buy a hawk/SV for the track when funds are right and go have blast
Link the thread.
I generally get very concerned about what people who post on "gixxer.com" think of my riding too. I bet they are motherfuckin' aces.
Josh don't sweat anything they say on that site.

Thanks guys, Was just feeling a little down with the crash and all, I also am not happy with the was I look in my video's. I did not really feel the flow or the track in NY. I was getting used to Louden and not adjusting well. I will stick with it and try to be smooth and learn all I can. Everyone here and at the track, thanks for being there and for your help and advice.

A 1K us a handful of a bike, man. It's like riding a 600....but the thrust you get out of the gate is just plain stupid. I hit the ground in T3 a few years back on my G1K for much the same reason you did at NY. I was working on my exits out of T2 but didn't account for the increased braking I'd need coming into T3. Live and learn. You made a mistake, that's all. You learned something, now go put it to use next out.
Yeah I also have the stupidness of +2 on the rear sprocket, TRE box, velocity stacks, yoshi exhaust, power commander, bmc filter and other retarded stuff I never need. Def need an ex500 or something, lol. I just have to step back and try and go smooooooth and get more practice

fuck them clowns. I wouldn't trust them to tell me how to put a sticker on a bike.
you made a simple mistake. I've had some dumb crashes and knew exactly what I did wrong before I even let go of the bars. things I knew better than to do. your crash was quite simply a learning mistake. it happens, you've already learned from it so you're good.

I second the SV650 as a dedicated track machine. I own two of them, a Gen 2 for the street which I brought to the tack fro Tony's in september of 2013, and now a Gen 1 dedicated track/race bike which I bought over the winter.
As for gixxer.com, good call on pulling the thread. A lot of the bike specific forums need to be taken with a grain of salt.
