Need bike transport for June 15/16 NHMS

Had a truck lined up for the 15th & 16th, but just got a call saying it was broken. (not a biggie Eric, shit happens) I was planning on going up Monday afternoon to be there for Monday's evening's tech.

I live in Blackstone, MA, right on the Woonsocket, RI line.

If anyone is also wiling to let me borrow a truck, I have a car, which I can leave with you.

And renting a U-Haul pickup or van would cost $200 round-trip. Yikes. It's the mileage that kills you.

chuck, the Toyota out here rents tacoma's for $40/day. might be a bit pricey, but another option if your nearby dealer offers it.

Checked into that too. No local dealers do it.

I have a reservation for a pickup rental from Enterprise as a last resort. BJ's membership got me a whopping 5% off the rental, so instead of if being $240, it'll be $228.

I ended up getting a pickup from Enterprise. BJ's offers 5% off rentals. It's better than nothing.

Zip Car is REALLY expensive and forces you to sign up for their service.

Gas cards are in the car.
Whomever is driving it when it hits 1/4 tank has to fill it up. Otherwise you don't have to worry about it.

So you could drive to say florida and back to pick up say a bike and gas would be free if you paid for those days

there is a 180 mile per day limit on most if not all cars.
It would work well for going to Loudon and back from Boston, but not really to Florida and back.

The cars all have GPS trackng too.
