I'll be on the bike in the trailer. The combination should weight about the same as the GL.

Use your blinker so I'll know which way to hang off .

All those track days and weekend rides and the man still can't read a corner without help.

    Cambuckle or ratchet straps?

Need it to be versatile from strapping the bike to strapping furniture to a trailer.

Rachet. Get them as tight as you want and they hold better.

The only advantage of cam buckle is that you can use almost the entire length where you give up a bit for Rachet straps.

Cambuckle makes it easy to loosen without touching them, even while you are still towing. Very convenient if you want to release the bike while still driving the tow car.

LOL. Well, technically you can do that too with the rachets if you don't get them engaged properly, but yeah.

I ratchet the front, cambuckle the back (hop on the pegs while pulling). Multiple folks have made fun of me for this, suggesting I either do the reverse, cambuckle all 4 points, or ratchet all 4 points. The bike hasnt fallen off yet.

Also, if you dont want to cut the tails, you can roll them up and zip tie them so they dont find their way into the axle/under the wheels.

your way is just fine. doing it in reverse would be the dumb way.

I've ratchet strapped the front end down and left the rear completely untied. I now pass another ratchet strap through the rear wheels of each bike just to keep them from hopping around at all.
