    Re: cleaning gloves

mine got really dirty and soaked a few weeks ago. i had been wondering about how i was going to clean them.

i put them on, ran warm soapy water over them and got all the mud off.

then let them dry. good bad or indifferent there clean.

yes i wear held phantoms in the dirt.
as far i know there the best i can buy and have save my hands on more occasions then i care to remember

well i just called Held USA directly and asked. he said to use dish soap inside and outside, rinse it out really good, and make sure they air dry.

What's the difference between a bolt and a screw?
First you screw, then you bolt.

no mention of leather conditioner after cleaning?
the guy that was pitted next to me at the last Bomo day had a great idea. he had one of those fans that everyone puts their helmets on but he took some pvc pipe and cut some slits in it so it would attach to the fan and drill some holes in the top part to let air blow out in all directions inside the glove. pretty good idea.

Febreeze sport is designed so they say for sports equipment that rarely gets cleaned. I douse all my gear after a ride and it seems to help.
