Re: Club Motorsports Grand Opening
Best edit reason I’ve seen in a while!!
Re: Club Motorsports Grand Opening
i love the "motorcycle events are the worst"...theres been 1 motorcycle event
im glad that someone that appears to be neutral spoke up and called them on their bullshit. the motorcycle traffic and 18 wheelers on 25 alone make more noise.
69dB is the sound of grass growing. does no one cut their grass there?
a large group of us should go up there and start issuing warnings for exceeding 69dB and then people will start to realize just how fucking ridiculous it is.

Not really. There's been a few limited motorcycle tests... but only one full event (with just bikes filling the track).

Re: Club Motorsports Grand Opening
A couple quick comments.
I'm eating lunch at Moes and they have music on but it's 72db just from the crowd noise.
Central cycle club has been in operation in Connecticut for decades. They've bought many of the surrounding properties bordering their me track.
The selectman in the article said the rack got a thank you letter for letting the state police hold an event there. I think if I owned a track I'd have a day every so often where a police dept local to the track could come test the limits of their police cars. Goodwill i would think.
Where I live I can hear some dirt bikes doing laps. I've tried to find the land but the way the sound echoes off the pond I haven't found it yet. But if and when I do I'm going to approach the riders... and ask if I can ride too. Lol.

Re: Club Motorsports Grand Opening
The funny thing is, there is a lumber mill right across Route 25 from the track, and a large lumber mill that abuts the Club Motorsports Property. Both have been in operation for YEARS. Tamworth is a strange town. The wealthy in town have opposed the track from the start. Funny thing is, I know people who live within a quarter mile of the property who have supported it since the beginning - and they're not motorsports people at all.
Re: Club Motorsports Grand Opening
I’ve been using a dB meter on my iPhone to measure generator sound levels. It’s called Decibel X.
69dB strikes me as being written to be impossible. Here are “reference sound levels” for construction equipment.

What happened?
Re: Club Motorsports Grand Opening
Stay tuned, but I wouldn't count on riding there in 2018.
