    Clubmans or stock bars

During my first track days next week on my Speed Triple.

When I bought it the guy had clubmans on it which I couldn't stand on the street (which is where he rode it).

I was thinking about putting them back on for the track as I would think that is where they would be best. Or is it best to just stay with what I am used to?

The other benefit of putting on the clubmans would be that if I crash I wouldnt be putting my expensive magura bars at risk.

I'd just keep your normal bars on.

Clubmans only work if they're on correctly (most aren't) AND the rest of the ergo equation has been adjusted to match, aka peg and seat setup. No need to be cramped up and uncomfortable at a track day, if you like riding with the stock bars on the street, you'll like'em just as much at the track.

    this.

go with what you know. if you aren't used to being so far forward, feeling like you're on top of the front wheel can be pretty unnerving. (at least it is for me)
