I have a gopro, i will be upgrading to the contour, video quality is much better, more user friendly, and the videos take up much less space for some reason

When you see the contour cameras and compare them side by side with the gopro, you will know the quality difference. Then you see the video quality and it confirms it. VERY simple big record/stop button you can use with gloves on, laser aiming, vastly smaller data usage than the gopro, etc etc.
The gopro does come with the protective cover which I like and a mounting gimbal that the contour does not, but the gimbals are available and we will likely bundle them in. My personal contour HD has survived two direct-hit get-offs, one at well over 100mph and still works fine although it is road rashes to hell.

Watching the videos on their website, I'm still skeptical. The surf video looks like shit compared to the gopro.
