    My First TTD was great

I just want to say i had a great time. Everyone was so helpfull and kind , I want to say Thanks to Dan, Gino ,Nazzo, Gram, Oreo ,and Tony for giving me so many pointers . The bike ran ok , the suspention needs to be set for me and the carbs need to be cleaned and synced. I had pirelli's on the bike and changed them to Michelin pilot Race. Those tires felt great. Day one was awsome , i moved up into the yellow group . Day 2 I desided to get lap timing done by Gram. His system worked good , but early in the morning till about 12 There were some craziness with the lap times. Gram fixed it and the lap times were much more consistant. by the end of the day i was much smoother and more relaxed, Thanks to the staff. when i hit traffic almost everytime my lap times were in the 1.30s. And when I didnt, my lap times were in the mid to high 1.20s. my best was 1.26.125 . The Track is the best drug, Im addicted. I cant wait for more track time. Thanks again everyone , I had the best time ever.

Glad you could come out an play with us. You were smoking out there. It was a pleasure to talk to your father, Milt, on the side line. He reminded me of my father when I started out. He's always looking to keep an eye out on me. All the staff have plenty of track day buck to help feed your addiction. Don't hesitate to contact anyone to buy theirs.

Thanks Gino. If anyone doesnt no about track bucks , I bought a coupon (Track bucks) for $40 last fall, I found out they were worth double because of the economy. $80 for one day at the track. And if you go for both days ,there worth triple the amount $120. So I saved a $120 off my first TTD. So for both days it was $320. I realy recomend people grab them wile they last. This benifits you to save money , and it also benifits the staff to make a little money , seeing that they dont get paid for helping. They get coupons as Pay. But its only pay if somone buyes the coupons. If anyone wants any , pm me if you want to purchase some and dont no who to contact.

Glad to help and glad to see you having a great time out there.
You did great for your first track experience, you picked it up really well and applied everything discussed in the garage out on the track.
    Good job bro!!!

Re: My First TTD was great

Your dad was glad to see you in this environment instead of the You Tube videos of you stunting and doing crazy things. He was much more relaxed.

How do the 2 compare now?both are fun. I know but this is going to be much more of a rush.

Frank You've got some great skills going on. I think you need to harness what is is that you are doing out there and begin to analyze what you and the bike are doing in unison. I could see the mental wheel beginning to spin and you think about this. Keep on going in that direction. It is not all about 100% riding. It's about Riding in the Zone when you can think it and execute it.

Did you pick up any pictures? I cannot wait to see them.

That is how I work. I'm sneaky. I saw your head checks. I was just on the other side of you. I don't want anyone to know that I am behind them. This is how I get the best information about the rider and be able to come up with plan for them to work on. I don't want any super hero actions inserted into their riding. This can skew how they actually ride. I rather see riders in their natural element. This helps both of us out.

Re: My First TTD was great

Thanks everyone for possitive feedback. I talked To Peter Kates about the suspention . Its going to be around $450 to survice the shocks and a new spring for the penski in the rear. And the carbs are a different story . not shore if anyone could help me service the carbs. I realy think i have a vacum leak some were because of the race fuel sitting in it for a wile. I also need to check the comprestion, to figure out if i still need to run race fuel . If there is and easy convertion change to bring the comp. down , that would be awsome. Im going to try to get this done before The 9th.

If anyone could Help , I will realy appretiate it. Thanks Frank.
