Deal: 2 NYST trackdays for $230 plus pro membership!

I thought I’d share this great deal I found. For $230 you get a one year of their Pro Membership and two track days. From what I’ve gathered, their track days range from $155 if you buy 2 consecutive days, $170 for single days, or their regular price of $220. But even if you don’t purchase additional days, it’s still $115 for each day. The GroupOn needs to be activated before October 31 st 2014, and it’s valid for one year from the activation date.

Intriguing offer, but it seems reasonable to want to know before purchasing: what days will be available, and how much does each day cost with the pro membership?

I don't see those details either on the Groupon offer or on their website, and I don't think I'd want to buy a membership without knowing the answers...looks like it might be 220/day and who knows which/how many days

If you look at there current calender, it looks like they have 2 member days a month during the regular season, usually on Friday and the events tend to be for 1 day.

I know Greg has gotten some flack from track day orgs for this deal, as well as for running track run days, so I heard he might be changing some of that for next year, but not sure on the details. I'll discuss it further with him this weekend and report back.

More than 8 days available with pro membership, I counted 19 available days for 2013.I think they Adlai might pair up with other organizers to do joint days. I also got am email earlier this week sayingtrap days this weekend will be $155 each day if you buy both days.days are obviously flexible for next year. $220 is their standard price.

During the busy season, most of the weekends are booked up with track day vendors. So if you notice, they run the member days on Friday maybe twice a month. If you look off season (like October) they have member days every weekend.

TPM had been running there member days, also. Not sure if they are doing that next year or not.

So, i'm confused by the wording...

$229 for a full-year pro membership (a $99 value) and two all-day track rentals for a motorcycle (a $440 value; a $539 total value)

Does that mean they provide a rental bike? Does that just include basically track day fees? In the deal Q+A it seems like they include the bike rental. What about gear you have to show up with? I'm going to call them tomorrow for more infor

I talked with Greg last weekend and he is still sorting some things out. Here's what I gathered:

This is a one time deal, won't be happening next year.

There will be less track day vendors putting on less events next year. Probably 1 a month. Probably 1 member weekend a month for motorcycles, as well.

The wording of the group on, I'm almost certain, refers to renting the track (meaning you get 2 track days included in the price) and does not include a bike rental.

Overall, I would say this is a good deal If you were already planning on signing up for the membership, but if you don't live close by, signing up through a track vendor is still probably your best bet.

For what it's worth, they are having a pig roast next weekend. So if you aren't coming up to loudon and are planning on becoming a member, You might want to do it next week.
