    thanks Lou

picked up my Q-Starz GPS lap timer from Lou on Friday. It worked like a champ all weekend, except when I would forget to turn it on.

Hopefully I can get a quick tutorial on how to use the software.

Software is pretty easy. Just download the beacons from Lou's site: http://madmonkeyspeed.com/NHMS.html and import them into the software.

After you install the software, just connect the timer to your system and the Q-Racing software will start and ask to import what's on the timer. Use Sprint as the track type from the drop-down.

The software should come with some sort of PDF or readme. Make sure that once you import the stuff off the timer that you clear it. Otherwise, the next import will import everything again and you will have double data.

If you're paranoid about losing data, make an export of all of your track data and put it up on a cloud somewhere.
