Just curious if anyone has done a Fishtail day and how they are. I haven't been on the track all year due to a new job and I actually have tomorrow off. Debating whether or not to pull the trigger last minute.

Do it. It's track time. Are you nuckin' futz?! It's track time!![]()
I've done several FT track days. Fun, safe environment. Awesome guys and gals. No problem getting one on one instruction. Have even had someone tail me with a GoPro so I could do video critique. We'll worth it.
Great group, fantastic people, low drama. Probably sold out as usual like Tricky Mike said.

I was told they were full, luckily I signed up in time![]()
What a great day! Weather was perfect!
Me no likey crash
Was a fantastic day! Thank you Fishtail, super fun even with a bunch of early morning sight seeing expeditions.
It was my 1st time riding the 848 I just bought and turned it into a race bike. Overall it was awesome. I was more confident than I've been in a while, and I was way faster than I've been in a while. Good times!
I've done lots of Tonys, Bomo, Penguin, Fishtail, Absolute, and Team Promotion. Tony's feels like home cause I started with them and have gotten to know mostly all their instructors which feels like family. Bomo, when they were around are great guys too. Penguin is a different group because they're more race focused, Absolute is ok, only done a few and I don't know anyone there. Team Promotion has a really really nice owner, he's small business owner and a great guy. Fishtail is a group of older, very mature group, really nice group of guys, totally recommend them.
Well, they all do this because they love it. If you're a 1st timer, id recommend tony. If you're interested in racing then I'd recommend penguin. But this post isn't about bashing it is? Does this forum have to live up to its reputation?
I recommend every org I've done trackdays with too.![]()
Big spectrum between bashing and being 200% politically correct. Objectivity usually doesn't involve recommending everyone.
You think NESR is about bashing?! Interesting. I think NESR is full of guys acting like they are in love with each other - inside jokes, false flattery, excessive political correctness and a whole extra dose of cheapness!![]()
I've done track days with Tony's, BOMO, Fishtail and NESBA. The only one i won't go back too is Nesba. Just happier with the first three. Lack of drama makes for a good day.
