By boy was there clicking a stopwatch each time I went by. Depending on traffic most of them were 1:29-1:33. I got a few clear laps in session 3(just before lunch) and was chasing a buddy who(with absolute certainty) is faster than me(man it helps your pace). I cut a couple 1:28's bracketing a 1:27(new personal best!).
I'm only good for a few laps with the pace wicked(for me anyway) up, if I continue, I'd kill myself(I nearly lost the front in turn 1 at one point, I never felt it move like that before, really scared me). I think I am riding comfy around 1:30 or so. But I'd like to get a 1:25 someday when I grow up, but I don't ride enough.
On another note, I tried Conti Sport Attack, and slightly taller gearing(18/39). I went from 7 gear changes to 4. I liked the changes.
yeah I'm a big guy(about 275 with gear) and a 500lbs wet TLR.

Hey Lion! I am not on the board that often (usually more just before and after track days) but if you ever want to ride ping me. I am the Dave with the sparkly blue SV650 that was riding with you yesterday for a session.
That suspension clinic was way cool and way tiring... ride, change things, ride, change things, ride, change things. I learned a lot even with my limit adjustments but there was no downtime. I am usually bummed the track is closed for lunch but I wasn't yesterday!

I was the old guy Lion was chasing. We work at the same place, so there may have been some subliminal challenging going on. Had to uphold the old gixxer's honor, don't ya know. I'm on the old rat gixxer. I got my wrist slapped for being a little too aggressive in passing. My apologies to anybody I may have "PO'd". The session where Lion was chasing me was right after I got slapped, so I promised I'd behave. I'm just a little more used to the open practice atmosphere. All in all, a very nice day. Oh, and certainly thanks for the pictures. They are awesome.
