    Re: foot peg

I don't have aftermarket rearsets on any of my street/trackday bikes if that answers your question.

Assuming you've got good body positioning you probably won't be dragging your pegs. I don't.

Going fast and smooth is all about how much money you spend on your bike.

Hang off more... and turn in quicker.

And get your suspension checked. Might be too soft.

Like I said.... hang off more, turn in quicker, stiffen up the suspension and oh yeah... get on the gas earlier.

All of those things will increase your ground clearance.

if all that doesn't work, call Woodcraft & get some rearsets.

    Re: foot peg

How the fuck is your foot peg scraping if you are in the bowl? Or are you talking about the foot peg feeler?
When i'm taking a turn like that, My sole of my boot (balls of the foot) is rotating around the end of the peg?

i think the suspension needs maintenance.

ok quicker turn. you mean push harder on the bar at later turn in? i should try that. it's pretty hard on this bike. doesn't want to fall over.

Yes, get the bike to full lean quicker. This gets the bike pointed through the turn sooner so you use less lean angle mid corner and you're not spending so much time at full lean.

ok, but if your end of the peg is scraping, where the hell are your feet?
the way I was taught, your foot should rotate around the end of the peg? Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here....

Just up & back. Against the frame if you can comfortably get it there.

    Re: foot peg

definitely wrong brendan. If your feet are out over the END of the peg you have given away like 20 degrees of possible lean angle! Not to mention you'll have no toes before you get fast.
