    First Gen SV winter maintenance

I bought an 02 SV650 in May with 14k miles on it and I'm the 3rd owner. The previous owner put 5000 miles on it from 2007 to 2014 and did 2 oil changes(I've got the Cycles 128 service receipts to prove it) but that's it. He kept the bike outdoors for the whole time (I needed new chain/gearing and even fork tubes because the surface was flaking and deteriorating. We had to replace those when I got my new susp. from GMD).
Since I bought it I've converted it to a track only bike. I've done the oil/filter, coolant flush and refill with Engine Ice and new master cylinder. Oh and the air filter too.
I've done like 4 track days since I bought it and I'm planning to do like 6 more this season. Other than the oil and chain maintenance what should I be looking for? The bike is running like a champ and I'm riding it like I stole it. Lots of redlining in 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear.
Should I even worry about anything over the winter? I keep reading that these motors are good for like 75k miles......I know there's tons of first gen owners out there! Lol

Check the valves, clean the carbs definitely. Maybe check wheel bearings, clutch, and freshen the suspension depending how long it's been.

You are doing it right. Just keep feeding it fuel. And don't buy expensive parts for it, there are plenty of ones out there with nice race bits already on them. (I've learned this one the hard way)

I like the idea of just feeding it fuel. I'll also keep in mind the valves/carb cleaning over the winter. I'm also having my front wheel "trued" so I can check the wheel bearings at that time. The front/rear suspension are new (internals) so the oils are fresh. Thanks guys. It's all a learning experience........
