I'm out as a track day, but I may ride out to see the course and hang out. Anyone know what the spectator policy is?
when is everyone going? Thursday night or Friday morning?
Signed up yesterday !!
I see it is over 3 hrs for me to get there. so I assume everyone is going down Thursday?? Where are people staying?
Honest to God, I can't find directions to that golf...er..country clu....er track,,, mmmm yeah track, on their web site.
How far is that place from southern NH ??? I wouldn't mind going and hauling a few bikes if it's not to far. Hell, I'd even pick up Bergs on the way. Plus, I could give my limited, shit ass view on track safety while down there. No one would probably listen but, I'd still have a good time tooling around that track!!!!
I too have had a hard time figuring out where this place is this is my best guess

Cool! Thanks, finao. Seems to be an easier trip than New Jersey.
Any peeps interested in going from NH ? I could probably get 6 total (5 plus mine) in the truck plus an open trailer. We'd need chase and support cars.
You like to live on the edge, eh?
You should know that I like to be naked during long road trips....just ask DucDave about the trip to VIR earlier this year. It was 14 hrs of awkward silence on the way there and on the way back.
BTW; 4hrs and change from my place to the track....least that's what the directions say.
:dunno:
That's not to bad. If we got enough interest, I'm game. We would need some cars for people and sundry items. I can haul most of the big stuff with the truck and a trailer.
I couldn't care less if your naked. If you play with your junk while we're driving, I can't promise that I wouldn't punch you (in said junk). :deathslap:
Gotta check my money after truck repairs and purchase of new gear. No choice in the matter.
BTW: I'll have you know that I enjoy a good ole fashioned junk punch once in a while.
:teehee:
Hey, it's your call. I'd like to do it but, if no one else wants to go I'm not going to do it. I'm slow enough that the track safety issues won't effect me.
I'll be more than happy to punch you in the junk anytime you want. That's the way I am, I'm a giver.
Is this the website for the place in question?

Looks like a fricken sweet facility if it is this one!
Yes thats the place.

I'm seriously thinking about it
this is gonna be fun. The stable is expanding today :D
Bergs you gotta come out. Let's do this!
Anyone feel like transporting my bike?:)
Let's all park near one another at the track! Make it a nice little NESR bash - we can break bread thurs night
Who honestly would go if they had bike transport? (ie. its holding them back)
keep in mind Dave said the spots are selling like crazy so it will be sold out soon
Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8330/4.5.0.77 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)
I'd reckon back to Bostonish about 11 or midnight... I have a spot for one bike on my trailer, plus one person + gear in my car... Waltham area.
Bergs, DOOO IT! Sell a kidney if you gotta. Wanna ride the 800SS?
Ken, Graham and I will be there.
No better way to evaluate than ride it, so here's hoping everyone keeps a level head.
From the video I've seen, it appears that the track at least put up some tire barriers, so that's a big plus. I honestly don't know why they said "NO" when we asked for that in the first place. :mope:
This should be good... there will be a wide range of riders there so the evaluation of the place should cover all types of trackday riders.
I live in the South Shore (Scituate), anyone interested in driving down with me, share gas cost maybe motel cost?
People are asking if they can come just to check it out, at this rate there will be more spectators then riders.... the details are being worked out now but it looks like if you are not signed up for this event you will be turned away at the gate.
The main issue is the size of the paddock and having limeted numbers of places to park.
I was just included on an email when someone else asked David about doing the same.
Here was the response-
"This is a Member Only facility, the paddock is small and this is our first event there.
This is not a spectator event with a paid gate fee for spectators like at other Public Race Track Faclties you may be used to.
If you want come see a track days please choose an event off our calendar that is at a open to the public race track.
We'd love to have you come, but this is not the ideal venue.
David-STT"
I think there will be more info on the STT website soon.
Anyone know if we are going to have garage access? How about electricity?
