Headed down Friday late morning. Riding Saturday/Sunday, driving back Sunday night. Trackdays are with Absolute. Will be about $320 for both days plus splitting gas and tolls. I have a trailer, so can fit a couple guys. I'm appt to just sleep in the trailer.

it's an ASRA round. $190 for two 8-lap sprints (CCS are 6 laps), three 15 minute practice sessions, and two 15 minute qualify sessions.

So you get 7 "sessions" for $190?

Or you do 2 trackdays, 14 sessions, for $320.

Not sure it is "saving money" by doing the race?

besides the fact that $100 track day laps != $100 race laps in enjoyment, I was referring to not wasting his $ on a track day and just do a race there instead. he's ridden there enough to know the course.

Fair enough. But i think Absolute runs "racer groups" so he would actually be going full speed regardless.
