I'm leaving around 12, dropping off the trailer, checking in to my hotel, then I have a coaches dinner thing, then bed.
Going +1 in the front of the SV.
Tried to change my gearing, called dealership
me "can you get me a 43 tooth rear sporcket by tomorrow"
Dealer "let me check.....Yes i can get it by tomorrow"
me "ok thats awesome, order it"
Dealer "ok"
Call today
me "hey this is corey is my sprocket in"
Dealer "oh i didn't know you wanted me to actually order that"
Are people retarted?
My nipples are still hard.
That place is absolutely incredible.
^^ and for the record I thanked for the nipple part
Love the track!!!!
Way too many crashes though... red flags really took up a chunk of the track time
Yeah, seems some people don't know the respect of being a novice but still signing up for the advanced group or perhaps people were trying too hard to ride flah tout. There is so much fricken grip out there it's incredible so I'm thinking people were trying too hard.
well, a big part of the issue from a control rider's perspective is that the cold track/tire morning sessions got red flagged so quickly (1-2 laps in some cases) that they were over before we had an opportunity to see much of anything except bikes getting tossed down the track. 4 miles of track is a lot to monitor, even if we had complete 20-min sessions to do it. Ultimately, IMHO, it's up to the riders to keep the track green.
Exactly. People not taking it easy or trying to be heroes is what resulted in the day's interruptions.
Speaking from a customer standpoint, the Novices in Advance group, while not desireable, was a very manageable situation as long as the faster rider was prepared to be patient. As far as I could tell the problem was that there was a large group of riders in attendance that didn't want to accept that scenario.
Sounds like a mess... and a big/long track to monitor adds to that.
You thought a crashfest at 1.6 mile Loudon was a pain!! haha
I agree totally with the exception of "novices in advanced." You only say that because you didn't turn any laps in novice  We did NOT have any novices in advanced.
But back to my agreement... there were a couple of guys in advanced that could have been "intermediated," as there were a handful of guys in intermediate that could have been "advanced"... IMHO, that's every trackday I've ever been to. Fact remains that if folks in the advanced group have trouble getting around someone running what they themselves complain as an "intermediate" pace, then *perhaps* they should consider bumping down. I know you didn't have any trouble getting around (considering you passed me... lovingly). I didn't have any trouble either (and I don't claim to be fast... just faster than Degsy). Who doesn't like passing m'fuckerz :dunno:

I saw a guy out in advanced on a hyper. Not getting off the seat, not moving his head, heels on the pegs erratic lines and going at what I consider a novice pace. He may have been the only one though.
