can you tell me what gears you carry into 1 and 6? it seems like you shift the least from what I have seen before

I don't use 6th gear, sooo...

5 into T1 with a downshift to 4th
4th into T6 with a downshift to 3rd, then shortshift back to 4th at the grandstands.

Geared 15/45.

if you asked me it seemed to me you were 4th all through 1-2 and 4th all over 6.

That's exactly what he said. He takes a downshift from 5th to 4th into T1.
Runs 4th through 1, 1a, 2.
Takes a downshift into 3rd for T3
Takes an upshift into 4th over the hill in T5
Takes a downshift into 3rd for T6
Takes a short upshift into 4th before T7
Runs 4th through T7, T8, T9, T10
Takes a downshift intio 3rd for T11
Runs 3rd through 11, 12 chicane
Takes 2 upshifts on the front straight into 4th, then 5th
Rinse and repeat

I did the same, except that I don't downshift into the bowl, since I run 15/46 for gearing. I ran Gino's stock-engined Hawk exactly the same way I ride my SV during Monday's TTD.

However, YMMV.
