Calibrated speedometer? I'd be surprised if you would reach a true 140 on the straight yet.
I wouldn't be surprised to see him do 140 on the straight
I WOULD be surprised to see him do 140 on the straight and still make turn 1 ;)

Re: Did my Penguin Basic School Today
With good bearings I could do 160 and maybe make T1...

you've been racing a bit and made it to expert this year. Have you (or any of you other racers) ever heard Jeff Wood, Eric Wood, Scott Greenwood, Christian Cronin, Shane Narbonne or anyone else in that league ever talk about how good they are?

Re: Did my Penguin Basic School Today
Well I'm sorry this thread didn't go over too well. It has been a pleasure gents, now I'll just leave it at this: I don't know who added the tags, and I don't really care. Some of them are funny, but to call me a tool because I'm pumped up about racing next year and won't listen to people who don't know me tell me that I'm going to be slow is just being a total pussy. Call me a tool to my face after I completely smoke you on the track. I don't care how much you think you know about riding/racing, I only listen to the guys who make sense. If you think going 140 on the straight is crazytalk, then I know you suck. Also, it would be easy to come on to a forum and just be quiet and wait for someone else to speak up, then jump on the band wagon and talk shit. I'd rather get a rise out of you, get to see what kind of characters I'm dealing with. It really blows me away that some on here really think what I've said is ridiculous. Everything I've said in seriousness is true. I didn't come on here saying I was fast, but I will defend my riding abilities when some clown wants to talk shit. I have plenty to brag about, none of which I've posted on here, so if what I've said on here comes across as bragging or arrogance, then I must be more of a badass than I thought! It's too bad that a harmless review of a Penguin School could turn into this, where there are actually people being rude.

Actually, you would be MUCH more likely to hear any top 10 expert complain about being off pace ... while running sub 15's
In looking at the names above i am now considering changing my name for next season to Freddy Hardwood! :teehee:

Should be fun seeing you Bin that R6....

Re: Did my Penguin Basic School Today
The old saying has always held true - regardless of the sport.
"When the gate drops - the B.S. stops..."
Most of the time - fast riders don't need to say much. A picture may be worth a thousand words - but a picture of you on the podium with a trophy says a lot more!

Re: Did my Penguin Basic School Today
I remember the days when I thought I knew what fast was.
.... then Jeff went by me at Mach 5 still on the gas as I was braking into the bowl.

During the advanced school Eric never said it but he hinted. :D
Plus most of us have SEEN how GOOD of a rider they are. There is no need to say it.
Brian is just super confident when we usually see humbleness. Cocky :dunno: I have yet to meet the guy.

Dude... I got SMOKED by GRAHAM going into 9, with him turned around looking at me and tapping his tail for me to follow him. I was like "HOLY SHIT he is friggen fast and nuts and I can't believe he is looking back at me and taking that corner 1 handed at that speed!!!!" (My first trackday)
The last time Jeff flew by me he was on the lil 696 monster and he got me midway to 11. I was like "JESUS H...!!! Oh, Hi/Bye Jeff"

yeah but talking about being off pace doing say a 13 when you have proof you can do 11s is a lot different than just running your mouth saying you're fast.
wasn't it Billy Hardwood? no that doesn't sound right either, shit what was the first name you came up with? and it doesn't do you any good telling the world you're making an alias and starting over so you can beat all the novices.

its comments like this that really show you don't know what you're talking about. and you just keep digging your hole deeper. if you don't show up next year to back up the talk you're gonna get even more shit.

this isn't in anyones signature yet???

Re: Did my Penguin Basic School Today
I would totally beat Lorenzo around Louden any day. I've done thousands of laps easily and he's never even seen it. i'd probably lap him a bunch of times.
Well, if Brian would give me some riding advice.
