Hey All- The Penguin Women's Track Day went very well and was a great season closer for me. About half of the students in attendance had never been on the track before but they were in the best hands possible. Tons of Penguin and WRS control riders available to give one-on-one tutoring to those riders who needed it. A surprise rain shower dropped on us midday, but our last few sessions we had a dry track once again. This was my first track day 'instructing' and I think I got a lot out of it myself. I worked with a student named Mary Sue on a touring BMW and I was impressed with the improvements she made. She asked me to follow her in B group and then pit in and critique her line- just this simple exercise was so beneficial for me as well because it helped me regurgitate much of Eric's talking points on the track walk and even helped me put it into practice more. I got to rip around in the advance group and have made substantial improvement inmy body positioning, really itching for a race ready SV now.... Hope all the women who attended had a great day, big thanks to those who came to help out
