Impact Armor is custom, and Mike's doing women's specific chest protectors now, too.

I have his chest protector and love it. I'll get his back protector when I replace my Dainese.

    Here's the T-pro women's http://www.matrixmotosports.com/prod...back-protector

and it looks like Spidi has one as well, from a quick google http://www.kneedraggers.com/details/...r--604835.html

+1 for Impact Armor. Awesome customer service and very nice product (shipped to the track for me to have when I needed it). I had the..umm..opportunity, I guess, to test it out a couple times. I tend to not go down as gracefully as some and tumble a lot. The stuff def worked well in the boulders of 6. Well worth the money and perfect for someone who may not fit the normal body mold.

PS Alex...The Lemmy is rockin! Don't listen to them...

We've got a few different types at the shop - http://seacoastsport.com/
We carry Bohn, Dainese, Rev'It and Teknic back protectors.

I'm not aware of any womens specific back protectors but there are a couple that I think are suitable. The Dainese BOY5 - I know, the name makes no sense and the Bohn Pro Racer Carbon in the Short length.

I've got a Alpinestars back protector that I really like. I don't recall the specific name off-hand but if you're interested I can let you know.

    Holy crap!

Somehow, I wasn't seeing the new posts, or at least when I clicked "new posts" this wasn't coming up.

Thanks for all the input, I'm going to have to do my homework. Glad to hear those who "tested" their armor sound like they still swear by it.

Derry isn't too far from me, maybe I can make a trip this weekend or next.

Re: Recomended back prtection for a track day

I've got the Teknic 7spine model, and have no complaints with fitament/comfort issues. My only complaint is that the top is loose, not held down with straps or suspenders, so it gets caught under the collar of my leathers when I try taking them off - just a mild PITA. A buddy got rear ended wearing the same B/P and I'm pretty sure it's the reason he's able to walk today.

oh yea if you can remember what the model was called that'd be great. I have a built in vanson protector in my suit but I just don't feel like it cuts it...I should probably get a chest protector too...any other ladies have some insight on that?
