Re: superBike tracks near Newport,RI
^^^^
yeah they are great!
Didnt know they had these get-together things. I will ask them next time i go there for something silly.
I took my CF wheels to be fitted with some rubber and they did an awesome job. So thumbs up for that!
However, i asked them to rebuild my PVM billet front MC and they said they only do OEM lol. So i sent it to "Harris"
I was just looking for a place where i can practice on being a better rider. Never though it would cost me that much.

The only place you can practice being a better rider is in a controlled environment. Professional instruction and the lack of animals, cops, pedestrians, traffic, cross streets, etc is well worth the expense.
The last time i went for a balls-out ride on a back road it ended with me being clocked by the cops without knowing it. The cop didn't even try to chase, he just called me in and i never saw him. I had no clue the entire towns police force was on their way, and a few miles later they had a road block setup after a blind corner just waiting for me. I ran right into it and there was nowhere to go. If i tried to turn around they would have gotten my plate. It took a lot of talking to avoid being thrown in jail for that one.
The captain was relatively cool about the whole thing, but if he threw the book at me (reckless charges and such) it would have cost as much as a season at the track.
BTW, if you see a completely flat black GSXR in newport, it's me.

hahaha.
More to Mr. Newport who said he's moving to CA or something. Which seemed to imply moving to CA = closer to tracks.
