$225 includes 8 sessions, 20 minutes each (barring crashes & clean-up), new rider orientation, classroom instruction, on track instruction, garage space (NJMP it's another 10 bucks) and the ability to go as fast as your cajones allow.
On average, people get around 80-120 miles of riding in... so about 2 bucks a mile. That ain't bad. Show me another hobby that gets you an equivilant all-day rush for cheaper.
I've been riding on the track since 2004... I feel sick every time I think about how much money I've spent, but then I think about how much fun I've had, what I've experienced, the friends I've made, the memories I have.... worth every penny.
