    Track Bike Maintenance Intervals

So as my season ends I am giving more thought to needed upkeep and preventative work on my track bike.

Im curious to know what I should be thinking about on a yearly or every other year basis etc.

Particularly curious about intervals for shock rebuilds and fork oil, but also trying to think of anything that should be considered every few years that I wouldn't think of.....

Im guessing I did about 1k or so track miles this year.

    Valve check/adjustment
    Fluids shock, brake, oil, clutch
    Chain and sprockets
    Air filter
    Check and gap plugs
    Sync carbs if so equipped
    Brake pads
    Stearing head bearing check
Just an all around once over take off the fairings and get a good look at the thing.

+1, I also check / grease the shock linkage, disconnect and store the battery and I always replace the plugs rather than clean.
Also, I usually wait until Feb so the bike doesn't sit too long without being run, that reduces the chance of condensation in the oil etc.

    +1. I'd add:
    -Compression Test
    -Leakdown Test
    -TPS (if applicable)

Wheel bearings? If they are stock.

I think GMD would say fluids/rebuild of suspension yearly or by yearly on a racebike.
