Mid Ohio Sports Car Course anyone?

I'm hoping to run Mid Ohio via Super Hooligans in August. I'm horrible at figuring tracks out day of so... I see Mid-O does some TD/Schools prior... any interest in a New England expedition into the bland state as a group? I'm leaning towards the June 17th event? Track has been repaved for this year, I've no idea how their TD/School is run, so if anyone has experience / advice to pass on I'm all ears!

I ran on that track about 30 years ago. LOL. So can't comment on recent schools/TDs. Have fun, it was a fun track.

It is absolutely in the middle of nowhere though. So don't plan on a lot to do nearby

Well. There are things to do in Ohio for a week, but not near the track. Head up to Sandusky and go to Cedar Point. Or go out to Put-in-Bay and have some fun.

But actually, head to southeast Ohio and ride the triple nickel

My buddy Fraley that you met at COTA is from up there. If you need info I can put you two together.

Sadly bringing my whole race program with me means no room for a street legal bonus bike. I don't even have room for a scooter, which has proven to be a PITA. But I'm liking some of the potential good hiking options that might be a perfect way to just relax?
