Spend the short money for a hotel room the night before. You'll get tons more out of the day being rested and alert.
The Hampton inn in Concord can be had for about $40 a night by bidding on Priceline.
Tent + air mattress + blankets works for me. Packing a wet tent isn't that cool though not gonna lie
Was actually considering this. Just wasn't sure if anybody camped and what the area was like in general.
I'm pretty good about not wetting the tent..
There will be at least a handful of us camping on Sunday night so you won't be alone!
Camping is pretty common. There's also the red roof inn in loudon that is close by but tends to be more expensive (still cheaper than boston), and an assortment of hotels in concord that are on the cheaper side, and about 20 mins from the track. upside to concord is that there is a whole city there, so finding food and snacks and last minute items is way easier than if you stay at the roof, where you'd have to go back to concord for that stuff.
I think red roof was around $60-70 a night and is just down the road. I stayed there a few times. Loving having a toy hauler this year, No more hotels for me
See you monday
Don't ride to a track day if you can avoid it...
You'll be exhausted and the ride home will be difficult.
Fuck packing heavy tools and such in a bag and riding with it.
In the unlikely event of an off, how are you going to get home?
fuck having to re-assemble your bike before making an exhausting ride home.
There is no better feeling than being able to talk about your first trackday, on the way home from your first trackday...
So I have quite a few options.. thanks everybody. Now I just need to decide what to do!
