She was not present. The guy was very friendly and answered the 20 questions we asked him over lunch.

At least locally here at Albany, most people who always just talks about hitting the track but never actually do will have no excuse not to go; Since the track literally is 1 hour away from where we live.
Most people that just want to try their bikes out on the track often just don't have the means to get there, when NHMS is like 5 hours away. Especially since Monti stop doing bike trackdays.
nevermind, now i know why she gets her picture taken from behind.
Ahh, this forum must be like NASIOC, where everyone dates 20-something supermodels. Mom in her 40's with two kids..

dont get me wrong, i think she looks good, but up close you can see shes got some miles on her and thats not what i would call stellar boob job for someone with her money. if shes in her 60s she looks awesome, 50s she looks great, 40s...good...
shes not dumb either, she knows the back is better than the front. 80% of her pictures of her from the back
Wasn't it a multi track series back in the 80's under AAMRR. Loudon, pocono, and bridgehampton? NESC mx runs multiple tracks and it breaks up the monotony of 1 track. Of course they run almost weekly so 1 track would get old fast and it takes less room and infrastructure for mx racing.

look what came across my FB feed....
ya, they are really trucking along on this thing.
Just got word directly from NYST that the track will be run in both directions. :groove:
I am coming from the same area as you RocketPunch. I am just outside of Albany and this place is only an hour and twenty minutes from my house.
New home away from home? More than likely. Wife isn't as excited as I am about a new track opening up this close to home for some odd reason. I doubt my bank account will be either.
Thanks for the update too! I didn't catch that in the FB news feed. May 2013 can't come soon enough!!
I was skeptical at first, given the number of track ideas that started but never completed.
This looks promising for sure!
Not to be a debbie downer but I call NOT GONNA HAPPEN....same as the Tammworth thingy
Bluegrass is still the standard for getting everyone's hopes up as high as possible then crushing them. they had initial pavement laid and it never got done. I'll believe it when I turn a wheel there. I'm optimistic but not gonna get my hopes up just yet.
Just took a tour. I'll upload the video later.
Wirelessly posted
:lurk:
Brendin was there today.....What did you find out Brendin?
Long straightaway. We got lucky and ran into one of the excavators who gave us a ride around the track.
Well for some reason my computer isn't letting me play the video so I'll try it on my phone. If it works, this will be the RAW unedited version, with my lovely conversation of BS with the contractor.
Aside from that, the track appears to be AMAZING. Even one spot that reminds me of Caldwell Park in England (I believe this is the one I'm thinking of).
so this?...
