The crest. At least that's what it looked like to me :dunno:
If anyone would like to see this video I'll be in 11N all weekend
Ken and I took a few laps of the track today in my truck on the first pavement coat.
Definitely a tight/technical place. Motards and smaller bikes are going to be very happy.
I'm thinking my CBR1000 might not be so happy ... might have to go back to sharing the CBR600 with Renee. :)
Thanks for the feedback tony. I'm definitely stoked.
I would love to take a cbr 250 or similar around this place
So, the tundra was too much truck for this place? We'll have to use my ranger to set the Xs then...
There is a ton of elevation change at this place.
In that photo, Turn 7 is basically a peak.
If running counterclockwise, think of the hill at NJ after the chicane, but instead of going straight after it you have to turn. ;)
If going clockwise you have a lot of speed when you get to the peak... but you need to be on the brakes hard for the left/right coming up.
wowie! super excited!
Great to hear! Sounds like my SV650 will love this place! Sign me up for days here!
Wow. I was under the impression that this was a track made for bigger bikes. I might have to trade my GSXR for an sv race bike.
While the big bikes will love the long straight, I'm thinking the smaller bikes will easily keep up or excel in the rest of the track.
My guess is this track will be a nice addidition to Thunderbolt and Loudon... but not a replacement. In other words, all of them offer a different feel and will test the rider and bike in different ways.
If you like fast and flowing with lots of runoff... you're not going to take Thunderbolt off your schedule.
If you want tight and technical - then NY and Loudon will please.
Personally - I want it all so we'll be renting all 3 tracks for next year! :)
cant wait.....
I'm all tingly. Tony, thanks for the update/temptation.
Tony, so booking for May track days?
So no in-car video?
C'mon guys, you are slackin!
