Oh yeah...we got it...going both ways too!
But, out of courtesy for the track, we are holding off until tomorrow to post it.

Tick, Tock... it's almost Friday! Vids should be unlocked soon. :)
Oh hell yea.....cant freaking wait to try this place out......!
I feel I am present at a pivotal moment in trackday history. First smutty's van ride and now this...
I honestly thought this sort of thing would never, ever make it through the red tape and local reviews required in this day in age. Awesome!
I know they have not start work on clearing run off but doesn't it look like you could end up going through the grass and back onto the track? Is it just the camera angle, may that turn is not very fast? Just wondering. I know the whole idea was safety it just looks weird.
edit: fun, no doubt though
Some vids have been posted here:

I know I read that, that's why I did not ask about the trees. If you put a wall there it would have to be close to the track, kind of like t3 at Loudon. I looks like the track runs too close to itself. So my question still stands, to those who have been there. Is the track that close or does it just look that way in the video?
edit: 35racer thanks for posting that link. I think it answered my question. The angle of the camera make the grass look not nearly as deep as it does on the back side of the track. Looks like maybe 75-100 feet.
1.5 hours farther away than Loudon but I will go. :D
300mi, 6 hours... so a couple hours / 150mi closer than NJMP for me, still one hell of a haul.
I have 2 days budgeted next year. Hmm...
5.5-6 hours for me. Probably not ride-in/ride-out material. Probably.
For anyone considering riding there, many roads in the area are worth the trip just to ride them; this year I rode right thru that area as part of a 7 hour each way trip from Southwick, MA to Cayuga lake, NY, on back roads the whole way...much of it on rt 23. It was a blast!
about 5-6 hours for me as well. cant wait.
What will be involved to run the opposite way? If there are consecutive track days, will it be one day clockwise, next day counterclockwise? Or morning one way, afternoon the other? Or is it likely to be more like alternating directions just every other year due to hassle of changing safety features?
It's nice that running the other way won't mess up pavement like it does with dirt...most non-regulated mx practice tracks have people running them whichever way they choose (when no one else is there, obviously) and it ends up forming huge braking bumps on the exit to every turn, as well as the entrance.
The direction is going to be left up to the organizer, as far as I've been told.
I have a plan for the TTD's, but that might change when I ride it. :)
i got a brand new set of slicks to break in at this track.
Bus stop? Waz dat?
bus stop chicane.....
i dont know how to describe it other than it looks kinda like a bus stop pull over on the side of the road

it is just a quick right and left (or vice versa) that brings you right back to the same direction you were heading.
"Bus stop chicane" fed through google gets me the picture.
