Well I'll be going to a Tony's date in May and I'm wondering if the Pirelli Diablo's on my bandit will do. They're pretty new, about 1.5k on them I believe, but I know a lot of people will put a more sport oriented tire on for the track. This is my first day, So I doubt I'll be running that hard. Just want some confirmation that it won't be a problem for me.
Those will do just fine. You'll want to drop your pressures a bit, the Pirelli guys can advise you on that.
Thanks guys.
What do you guys think of the bandit on the track? I sold my Z and wound up picking up a 97 Bandit 600 (long story). If I have permanent employment I want to sign up for a day but not sure how the bandit will be on the track.
I race a GS500E, stock. I've track-dayed on a Ducati ST3, the GS, and a CRF70. That Bandit will be a hoot out there.
I damn well hope the bandit is going to do well, I've got a bunch TDs paid for already
