Trailer floor options, tile, dimond plate or urithane?

I hear tiles are bad...pull up, dirty etc.... paint peels.... urithane seems like the best alternative....dimond plate....

Im thinking of dimond plate under the rear wheel and the rest urithane coated to seal it. any opinions from folks who have done any of this??

I've got industrial carpet down in mine, but I also use it as a motel when I'm at the track. If I was to use it only as a transport, I'd probably go for some kind of bedliner product. Paint and other coatings arent as durable, but easy to touch up and fix. If you have the $$$ a solid sheet of rubber matting (diamond plate or coin) is a great choice too.

I polyeurethane the entire inside deck of my enclosed trailer. I love it and I actually have some carpeting to protect it. I also sleep in it too when I'm at the track, kinda smells like poly.

Garage floor epoxy works great on plywood (holds up well) but is slippery when wet even with lots of traction grit.

DIY truck bed kit might be a great option. Look for the truck liner / LINEX thread that was on this board: someone linked a DIY kit which might work well. I'd never heard of the particular kit before. Linex would be awesome but would run you a bit of $. In my next trailer I will be doing DIY truck bed liner or rubber coin flooring.

My dad has an enclosed trailer we used for kart racing and snowmobiles. It has a sheet rubber floor that worked out well. Held up well to the sleds (provided you didn't spin the track with the studs), wasn't too slippery in the wet, and didn't hurt to stand on after a while of working in there.

Haven't worked with a sealed wood, but the diamond plate is slippery as a bastard, expensive, and shows scratches quick.

here's what im thinking...... seal the deck wood with poly.... then buy the garage floor rubber squares from home depot that snap togehter..... that would be real nice and cheap. Guess ill do that! Thanks for the idea's!

Light grey floor paint once a year to keep it looking fresh.

Dries quick from rain. You can mop it if you track mud in.

I haul my tractor in there too so I need to be able sweep up the debris.
