    Paging Graham.

For those that think it's a scare tactic, it's not. I've watched Graham do the testing and I've seen him fail people. It's not just for "show", there's a lot of time and research that went into this.

The main purpose is to just make sure everyone is using regular pump gas. He gets samples from the Shell down the street and compares what's in your tank to those samples. If it doesn't match, you get a big ole F (unless of course it matches the stuff sold by VP)

James, is it just me or was there a time where one or both of us would get pulled in at least twice a weekend?

Not quite however I do find it noteworthy that tech had a boner for testing fuel (seemingly for at least two riders in particular) over the course of a year yet I'm reading posts now that suggest there are hardly any tests being performed. "Noteworthy" is the word I'm using, Petey....noteworthy.

Out of curiosity, how many times has your fuel been tested since you started racing?

So I was dead wrong on this one. Check.

That brings up 2 questions: how different is 93 octane from one gas station to the next? And if I'm running the 91 from shell, am I really losing any ground?
(I think I know the answer to the second one)

Graham can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the people chosen to be tested is "blind".

Meaning it's a finish position and a race that decides...not a name or a number?

In this case, the same person(s) will often be tested more than others.

Ya I think we were on a first name basis with those guys.

Unless they changed something I believe its completely random. I know the Dash winners get tested but thats a little different. When they were pulling me and Bergs in we werent winning. We would be up near the front of the field. I think there was only one time where we had a 1-2 finish and we got tested. Of course we were like 30 sec in front of 3rd that day

As long as youre running approved gas then there is nothing to worry about. Id roll in pop that tank open. Lose a turkey baster full of gas and never hear about it again

    Yeah...this is what I meant. It's just X Position(s) in Y race.

But, as the season goes on, this can often end up being the same people.
