Speaking of this, Derek, how strict is VIR on the water-only ruling? Would they accept a propylene-glycol or PTFE based coolant, given that both are AMA legal coolants?

I'd really like to get my bike track-prepped and ready to ride before heading down there, but there's no way I'm hauyling my bike in late march with an engine full of water.

I would go with engine-ice. It is a coolant and an anti-freeze which is track-safe.

Water wetter is fine. It is NOT an anti-freeze though, so if you are transporting a bike on the back of a pickup, you had better hope the temp on the way down does not hit freezing point 9unlikely, but possible), as you'll find an ugly oily, watery mess on the bed of your truck and a cracked motor.

    Shit, Shit, Shit!!!!

My "group" cannot ride on Tuesday and that looks like a PRIMO day!

Oh well... at least Monday has changed from RAIN to FEW SHOWERS (and only 30% chance at that)

Seeing as how it is raining on Sunday and beautiful on Tuesday, my guess is that Monday afternoon should be completely dry.

    (fingers crossed)
