OH SNAP!!!!! TS gotcha Doc! Better pony up a ride for him...looks like you'll be riding the YSR all day. Sorry, its a little late, but still applicable. I'll be home for a wedding...I wonder if I can make it down early, do some laps and make it back in time for the wedding at 4:00? Probly not a good idea, I'm in the wedding party.

So is anyone looking to buy a pitbike? What is your budget? Can I help by financing for you?

14s instead of 12s or 17s where you can get good rubber? That's an interesting choice, how'd you settle on it? (I've seen 12s and 17s on 150Rs, seem to do well with both.)
Pilot Sport SCs? I ran one on the front of my 70 for awhile... make sure you can get at LEAST 2.15" wide rims for that tire, ideally 2.5" or 3" or the profile will be WAY out of whack. When I ran them they were very unpredictable at the edge of grip, they wouldn't give you any warning that you were at the line, they'd just let go. Pirelli SL26s used to be available in a 14" size, softer rubber, not quite as much absolute grip as a Pilot SC or Dunlop TT21 but VERY predictable as you pushed. You could do some SICK slides with them. Wore REAL fast unfortunately. I don't see the 14" version listed on Pirelli's site any more though so I'm not sure what to suggest now as an alternative to the Pilot SC.
That's the Pilot Sport SC on a standard 14" dirt rim... not a pretty profile and a total PITA to mount. : ) Damn it's been a LONG time since my 70 looked that... stock. : )
Edit: Pirelli GTS 23, that was the other animal to look at. The new 'Diablo Scooter' looks good to, higher profile so it'll put up with a narrow rim better?
