Kinda bummed I didn't jump on the deal for the Sunday 24th day. There should be an ATM at the track!

Is Kurtz going to be there dealing his black, circular shaped goods?

I do believe so. That's what he told me, anyway. I need him to spoon on some new rubber.

Chances are he's busy with the LRRS Classic right now, so he may not respond immediately.

I can't make it Sunday, but SO want to go Monday. Work just happens to be crushing my soul at the moment.

This place is so great, trying to pull all the strings I can.

As mentioned, Mike is at the big race in NH right now. I do believe the plan is for him to be at the NYST days - but you should order NOW if you want anything.

sales@gomtag.com is always the quickest way to contact Mike regarding Pirelli tires.

Going to talk to PK Monday when I drop off the bike. As long as he can get it back to me by Thursday I’ll be able to sign up for both days.

Does one pass a grocery store on the way to the track from MA? Googoo searches only show some miles away.

Many exits off 88 have some kind of convenience and gas. Remember, the track has breakfast and lunch items available... and we'll order Pizza for Sunday night

If you want a legit grocery store you'll want to stop in albany / guilderland (route 20 exit off 90), schenectady (exit 1 off 88), or cobelskill (exit 21 off 88). Assuming you are on 90 until 88. If you are going some other way post up your route and I'll try to let you know where to stop, assuming it isn't too far away from where I'm at.

Otherwise oneonta will have everything you need about 20 minutes beyond the track

Also, depending on what time ya'll roll through, I highly recommend stopping here Schoharie Valley Farms - Home and grabbing some sort of baked good. Cupcakes, cookies, actual cakes etc. Their carrot cake is the best you'll ever have.

I really need to have a word with Customer Service at the National Weather Service. They keep on scheduling rain during track days. This is not what I ordered.

Paul: Please bring your rain tires. That should ensure that Sunday's afternoon forecast is incorrect. For good measure, mount 'em up first.

Yesterday was great. Track was dry by second session. I didn’t see a yellow or red the entire day. Great day.

Maybe, but it was a smooth day for most groups. I think yellow had two incidents all day.

The super fast guys were polite and consistent passing in Blue.

I could totally get into taking that track apart turn by turn. Lot of different approaches to corners to stitch together to be fast there.

    Paul is fast there!

8-9-10 was my Achilles heel and I left at least 3 seconds on the table every lap through those three corners. 8 is a tough one (for me) - FAST, downhill with the front wheel coming up and semi-blind. Turns 5/6 (bowl), just after 7/wheelie hill were great spots to pass people along with the inside line between 14 & 15. LOVE the straight, I would regularly setup people out of 18 and let the liter bikes shine by pulling the trigger on them well before the track Marshall station. It's a big bike track.

    God I miss NYST.

    Re: NYST on the 25th

Excellent day Monday, glad I made it.

Working with yellow group was great. As Clayton said, it was an incredibly smooth day. This track seems to offer a lot of different lines depending on your pace, was fun chatting with everyone and learning what they were doing and why they thought it was the fastest way

Was also able to get in a few sessions in blue. It took me a while (a few years) and all the geometry modifications, but this bike (and how to ride it) is finally clicking with me. Closest I've ever been to sticking with Paul and Aaron as they zoomed through.

My suspension is going on 2 years now without a re-fresh, I'll blame that.
