03-04 zx6r Front Fender

Kinda of a Noob question and appolgies for that but I have an 04 zx6r and for some reason I can seem to figure out how to disconnect the front brake hoses from the front fender is there a trick to it or do I just snap them off an buy new tabs? Any help would be great im trying to send everything for paint and everythings at the shop but the front fender yeah i know

The clip part is like split in two (the pointy part) you need to kind of shimmy one side through, then itll pop out.
