gas tank problem..

i feel retarted. but i dont have a book for the bike(01 RC51) how do i get the dam tank off? i keep spillin fuel everywere. i dont kno what to take off and what to leave on... do i take off all the nuts on the bottom of that round tank plate? thx.. -Smokey

is your pump gasket leaking ?
DC the fuel line & breather un bolt it then it should come off

Don't know fer sure, but I'm fairly certain there's no petcock on the RC's...

no petcock, it did just come off when i unhooked the hoses i wasent sure it first cus it was spilling fuel. o well. thx -Smokey
