    Hi,

I bought some parts for bike: akropovich slip-on exhaust, flush mount turn signals, CW fender eliminator with signals, and a clear alternatives integrated tailight. Can anyone recommend someone who can install these outside of a dealership as we all know they charge quite a bit. Will pay cash.

    Thanks for your help!

    Matt

Do it yourself... that stuffs easy... and it will cost you nothing other then an afternoons work. Think of it as a bit of bonding with your bike.

Definitely do it yourself! It may seem scary at first, but those are nice easy mods, and they will help you get a better understanding of how your bike goes together. Plus, if you ever have problems with them, you'll know how to take it apart and diagnose it.

Dude, seriously... those mod installations are about as easy as they get.... only thing you gotta be able to do is turn a wrench, a skrewdriver and be able to read and follow the directions.

    WTF!

I would be glad to help - I should be around on Saturday afternoon; so come on over!

    It will cost you though.

The entire time I'm working on the bike I'll be calling you a friggin dumbass!

I'll probably say shit like: "You really shouldnt be riding if you cant afford the time to get to know your new bike, at least a little bit", and WTF is wrong with you", and "do you at least know how to change a blinker bulb".

So if you can handle that; come on over neighbor!

You do realize that most bikes have a 600 mile oil change after the initial break-in right?

If you seen what the oil + filter looks like coming from a bike after 600 break-in miles, you'll never wait that long again to change it Change it at 200, again at 600 and every 2k after that

I have no doubt, I was just mentioning it to mjpods as a stab at his mechanical ability.
