Are the blinkers aftermarket and if so who put them in? Could be an exposed wire issue...

I'd have to say that is your issue. Which faring did they replace? and do you know how to take it off to fix your issue?

I be the guy who installed the blinkers just did a twist and tape job.

Over the winter I took all the wiring off my blinkers, tail light and plate light and re-wired them all with a sodering iron and shrink wrap because they were twist and tape jobs. I hate when people do shit work!

yeah they replaced the one that holds the blinker..im going to disconnect it and see if it stops blowing the fuse...if they are wired backwards would that cause it?

Are they LED? If they are LED wiring them backwards would matter. If they are bulb type, the direction does not matter.

    LED bulbs are pole specific.

LED's are pole specific, they are diodes, but that wouldn't blow the fuse. They just wouldn't work. A short to ground would blow the fuse. +1 faulty wiring.

Also, unclip where the pigtail plugs in, put an ohmeter across the NON bulb side with the blinker OFF. Don't turn it on with the meter in Ohms mode unless you want to buy a new meter. If the reading is zero or close to zero, you have a short going forward. Try the same thing (like the guys said) from the positive side (usually this is the switched side though some have positive always on and switch ground - if that is the case you can ignore this whole part) of the wire (orange, red etc. typically - one of them bright colors lol Not black) to the frame. Once again zero or close may indicate a short. Just don't turn the blinker on while you are doing all that.

LED's CAN short (breakdown voltage) and begin to conduct - without lighting - in reverse, but usually they just blow open not closed like blacklightning said.
