Something is fishy in those pics, why do two of the bikes have undertail exhaust and two have the shorty side mount? (No I did not read the release yet!)

Did you get these off the Honda site?

The CBR1000RR is not listed as being touched on their "new model" page. There was a lot of hype about either the CBR1000 or the VFR getting replaced.

Their updates the last few years make me think they don't care about motorcycles anymore.

For street bikes this year it seems like the only things they did were:

    - New paint jobs
    - Sell the VTX1300 with different accessories pre-installed

They updated the CRF450R and made several ho-hum new ATVs and a new Jet-ski, exciting!

Honda's submitted patents applications for a more bigger VFR. More pork!

They should just re-release the old 98-01 version. Look, we shaved weight and added power! Tada!

.....and ... and you never tell me you love me anymore!!!

For street bikes this year it seems like the only things they did were:

    - New pearl white face paint jobs
    - Sell the VTX1300 with different accessories pre-installed

You sound like my ungrateful impatient wife

*I hope they make the bestest CBR EVER* Oh I can't wait

If they make the same Mods to the 1k as the 600 there will be one in my garage next year whoo hoo!

Actually I don't particularly care about the 1000RR... nor was I really looking for an excuse to buy a new bike.

If I was in the market for one of those I'd probably just buy the superior product from someone else.

But how long has it been since they did anything remotely interesting? (I'm not really sure the 600 is that interesting.)

The ZX-14, the new Concours, those are interesting.
The selectable fuel maps on the GSX-R 1000, those are interesting.
    The new Buell is interesting.
Practically everything Triumph does is interesting.

    Honda? Not so much.

I got all 4 images from the same place.. the 600rr images are pretty close if not the exact image used on the honda site minus the fake drop shadow

That's definitely not the 600rr red bike...

I know because that is likely my next bike.

I wasn't a big fan of the 07 Red color scheme, but really like the 08 red.

LOL - they could shave a little weight by dropping some of the redundant "R"s in the model name.

Must admit, I do like the black and silver one...
