Sounds about right 15-20% friction correction and your about 145-155 at the wheel. That's alot o juice. The 1000 crop is gonna be stupid fast this year. I'll bet no more than a 5 hp variance between them all, and roughly all the same weight. Goodness...things are heating up!

Wonder what they are gonna do for rear stand. I don't notice a spot for bobbins and the underbracing is not pad friendly....stupid IMHO.

Yami claims my R6 is like 129 hp or something, but it's really about 100 or so.

The Yamaha Ministry of Information is saying 180, but as other said that has to be at the crank, on full RAM air, and on a 40 degree day.

I would say its gonna be somewhere between 140-145 when its all done. The bikes are due in February / march and we already have seven of the fifteen we are getting sold.

The R6 will stay basically the same, since its the second year of its two year cycle. The 04 R6 will have R1 traits for sure.

A bike I'm really looking foward to is the ZX-10. One of our guys went to Big K's show in Vegas last month and saw it in person. He said its a hair bigger than the ZX-6RR, but beefier.

I love the frame, and how Kawi just took a slightly different path to reach the same litre-bike point.

With the CBR1000 here too, its gonna be a sick summer for bikes.
