2008 Kawi Z1000

Saw on in person last night and am im love. Never owned a Kawasaki or an inline 4 before. Its on the cheaper side of the spectrum @ $8900, but thats still a big chunk to spend once you figure in insurance and everything. What do you guys think? Im on the fence between that and the new Speed Triple. Any owner comments out there? I think the Triumph would have better resale but there is just something about this Z

the z has just been updated for this year. beside the still awful exhaust its a really cool bike imo. as for a choice between the two its a toss up. i've ridden the speed3 a few times and its a blast. i'm sure the kawi is to.

out of curiosity, how much $ for the 250?

its silver with black and orange decals ~3k miles. the girlfreind knocked it over in the garage and it fell onto a jackstand put a hole in the upper fairing by the directional. im looking to get $2000 fixed or $1500 as is. the part is about $500 and comes painted and stickered from kawasaki so someone would never tell. but i would hate to waste the money if someone is going to use it as a track bike or possibly throw it around themselves.

so isn't the kawi. the ninga 900 based inline 4 is a hammer.
