i thought so too but when I looked up frame sliders for a 07' two fiddy that kit was recommended. I havent seen any kits that sell just the sliders... When I first got my Ninja I looked for them too and I only found the kit.

She may not need them. I dropped my bike (07 250) about 4 times that I can remember and the blinkers take the brunt of the abuse. And since the stalks bend they don't break off. The rash was minimal on them as well. But in all the times I went down the plastics were never touched. Although if you think she will moving at a good clip when the "going down" happens then that's a different story.

I own a 1999 model, and it has a crack right underneath the right side directional. It is barely visible, but as I started looking at other 250's, I can see that very same crack on almost every single one.... I would not trust the directional to prevent fairing damage on these bikes.

The older model turn signals where a solid piece. I know for sure 07...maybe even 06 were bendable and you would be surprised at the amount of abuse they could take. I dropped mine HARD quite a few times. Once fell down an incline (thank you kancamagus) and another while turning into parking area at Hampton and lost back tire on sand. I had perfect fairings, no cracks and slight rash on end of stalk. Personally these bikes are barely keepers anyway and I would expect some form of dent, scratches or rash on them. I never saw any frame sliders on one but after reading the article above I see why. Everyone always want to keep their bikes "pretty" but these are inexpensive bikes more used for gaining experience than for keeping (apart from the die hards and racers). Just get what you can out of it and move on up and don't sweat the little things.

Call me a "Die Hard" then, because I love our little Ninjette!
