What would you get? And why? The zx10 is pretty nice huh with the electronics? This is a Serious thread and all opposed will be expelled! Just kidding! Please feel free to wreak havoc! No but seriously, the gixxer comes with brembo calipers and a single side exhaust (lighter than prior years) and the zx10 has traction control. I think I'd enjoy the traction control. Although I do like to use my wrist and trust its every move. So, out of a whim, what would you get?

I've never been a Kawi guy, but that thing is pretty sick. Of course they all are now. I don't think you could go wrong with either one.
Not sure about Suzi pricing but I've seen the ZX10 (2011) leftovers around $11K w/o ABS. Not bad price for so much. A friend whose ridden one tells me most of the power gain is on top and not as much mid as he expected. I think some magazine reflashed the ECU and picked up another 15hp like the Euro versions.

I can tell you first hand that the RSV4 is fantastic. I had an 09 GSXR and it was a great bike but it didn't have any soul for me. My RSV4 just stirs me like nothing has for a long time.

I'm a Suzuki fan all day but idk how I feel about the latest models and the color selections they have left. The zx seems like a beast and has a lot of nice electronics although I'm not a fan of those seems like they did a great job. Suzuki finally realized how the dual exhaust is stupid and just extra weight but idk what happened with their motor. They used to make a lot more aggressive bikes IMO
what the hell happened to your gixxer?
Sold it last year to a fellow on this forum named RacerXnh10. Anyone know him? I've tried to contact him to see how he likes the bike with no response. I've fancied the idea of buying it back all set up like I had it.

I haven't read any reviews of the '12 GSXR but I have ridden an '11 ZX10 (which is the same as the 12 right?) for a session on track. I believe it was in baby mode or whatever its called and it was still nice. Tons of power and very smooth from idle all the way up. Tank is a bit big and the bike feels like it sits really low but I was still passing most people in advanced going easy so ground clearance wasn't a problem. Overall I enjoyed it and with some personal fitting I bet it would be even nicer.

ZX10R-
Very small package with lots of balls. The GSXR just seems old compared to it...........
ZX14R... for the money, I'd rather have touring capabilities built in with more relaxed ergos, yet still rip your arms out of your sockets... At least you'd be comfortable when it eventually disembowels you.![]()
... but probably in a choice, ZX10R... looks better, good quality, and no one will say "Oooh... Gixxahhh!!!" when you roll up. Hahaha. (No offense.)
"Life is a tour, not a race... just stay out of my way when I'm touring!"
Well i have to say ZX10r because i have yet to have felt that kind of power in any other bike i have ridden yet but then again its the old school 2004
Out of curiosity, why would you exclude the S1000RR?
Buy the ZX10......if you don't mind kicking yourself in the arse later this year when the redesigned '13 GSXR1K is released.
It'll happen......And if you don't think THAT will have all the TC goodies you're just warped.
And don't listen to Ahtune above...he "may" have a biased opinion.
