Two Sportbikes Stolen in Melrose

My CBR (streetbike) and 636 (trackbike) were stolen overnight (6/10-6/11) or this morning. I don't expect that anyone here will see or hear anything but kindly let me know if you do.

The CBR is the 2008 1000 RR black/gray model in my avatar. It has:
--7,000-7,500 miles on it
--A golfball-sized hole/damage area in the front left upper fairing, where the handlebar of another bike punched through the plastic
--Very worn Bridgestone tires
--Front/counter sprocket cover removed and set up for GP shift
--Heated grip toggle switch up near the left of the front fairing, unmounted.
--Techspecs black tank grip/protector
--Otherwise stock

The Kawasaki is the 2004 ZX-R 636. It has:
--Light blue tank and blue and white Motoaddiction #424 racing bodywork with various stickers, including TTD, VP Racing Fuels, etc.
--Yoshimura exhaust
--Aftermarket instrument cluster that does not read speed or mileage
--Moderately worn Pirelli tires
--Stompgrip tank grip/protector

Sorry to hear the news Dustin. Hopefully you insurance will reimburse you for you CBR. As for the trackbike...I suppose that's probably gonna be a total loss. Insurance or not, that sucks big time.

With the amount of thefts recently, I am surprised the cops aren't trying to do stings or at least lojack a few bikes to track down the rings. I guess they are too busy keeping the public safe by issuing speeding tickets...
