    That's one of those do-everything, last-forever, all-around great bikes that Honda does so well.

    I've had a few valve adjustments on my bike, over the last 18+ years, but they tapered off after a while, too. Nowadays I have them checked about every 10-12K, and they need a small adjustment about every two checks. Which isn't too bad for a Desmo.
