    4-cylinder Streetfighter shootout

Rode the 2014 4-cylinder Streetfighters recently. Fun day and all the bikes are rad. Full notes here: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/8/1856...-Shootout.aspx

If reading isn't your thing all the video breakdowns are on page 1 and cover each bike pretty well. If you have any more specific questions lemme know. (Also rode the KTM Superduke R recently)

Fun Fact: Only saw death about 25x's that day... crazy fookers.

I rode the Z1000 in a demo ride last week. Holy crap! What an engine on that thing. If I had room for more bikes, or didn't care about practicality.... Instead I need to downsize my fleet.

    4-cylinder Streetfighter shootout

So it sounds like the Bimmer kind of sucks. Long, not very agile, and suspension nanny. I assume the latter can be switched off, the first two sure sound like a deal breaker. I got the impression it might be like this just reading the chassis dimensions when the bike was released.I think I'll stay on my S3R...

Yea I was pretty bummed on the BMW overall. Went in thinking "FUCK YA BMW 1000R WOO!!". I mean, it IS a nice bike, it just wasn't the All Slayer Streetfighter I was expecting. Especially after spending time on the 1000RR Superbike which is badass.

Honestly your Street Triple R is a rad bike. We rode those back in December. http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/8/1768...-Shootout.aspx
I did both track and street on the Triumph and it was sweet. Only thing the bike lacked was big motor (as wheelies on these bikes are all so fun...)

Weird thing about the Kawi was when you rode it alone (it was actually the first bike I rode, about 1 hour to the canyons/photo spots) you like it. But back to back with the competition it really shows its shortcomings. Does have a nice motor.

Be nice to see a long term follow up on the Aprilia, tho that probably won't be as good for sales

KTM Superduke R is awesooooome. Didn't ride it on the street, just the track, but man... what a incredible bike. Motor is STOUT, it was lofting the front end 2nd into 3rd into 4th. Handles nice. Dragged pegs but it is a streetfigher with stock pegs, not too unexpected. Just had so much fun on it.

To put the motor in perspective. I rode the 1199 Panigale right before the Superduke R...and the Superduke motor felt way better.

Fingers crossed they toss that motor into a 1290 Adventure with a 180 rear tire next year.
